Hey Everyone, for those of you who don’t know me, I’m Will and I’m a bit of a passionate Minnesota Sports fan…but not the good teams that win like the Lynx, but a fan of the teams that suffer…Vikings, Wolves, Wild, and Twins…before I lived in MN I lived in So-Cal but have always been an MN sports fan, back to the ‘91 World Series, the last happy sports memory in MN.
The purpose of this article is to bring the flyover country teams some overdue notoriety in the pick’em realm. The goal is to post 3-4 Underdog specific picks between the Wild, Wolves, Vikings, and later Twins when their season starts.

Wolves Pick: Anthony Edwards O 5.5 Rebounds
After a frustrating overtime loss Wednesday night where the Wolves had the Celtics on the ropes and let them get away, I see the Wolves bouncing back in a big way and that’s when Ant gets cooking, I do have some concern about blowout and the wolves not having to play their full minutes, as much as I want to play Ant o 40.5 PRA I’m going to stick with what Portland is horrible at and that’s rebounds to SG’s.
Rudy Gobert O2.5 Blocks/Steals
Rudy got a rest day on Wednesday after a full game Tuesday and the flight being the same day as the game Wednesday night. Being back home as well I think makes this an easy return to action night for Rudy and doing what he does best, doing the dirty work on the defensive side of the ball. Portland is bottom 5 in TO’s in the league and if this game does turn into a blow out quick, it’s because Rudy continued his defensive dominance.
Wild Pick: Joel Eriksson Ek U 8.55 Fantasy Points
Sorry “Swedish Chef” but I just don’t see a place where Joel gets up to hitting this score tonight, 0 goals in his last 8 games, and 1 goal in his last 14. His shots have been around 3/game but Phi is one of the top 5 in least SOG allowed by a C. Not to mention, the Wild have been horrible lately, as hard as that is to admit, it’s true.
